Just read this news that an 84 year old man in Arkansas has finally gotten a license to make "moonshine" Here is an excerpt:
********************
Moonshine is finally getting its day in the sun. For generations, the corn alcohol has been made illicitly. Thats why the sheriff smashed the still Ed Ward's father once had. Now, Ed Ward, who's in his 80s, is the first moonshine maker in Arkansas to get a license to make the corn liquor. But moonshine hasn't shed its stigma. Ward told the Batesville Daily Guard his family doesn't approve, and his preacher is praying for him. ******************************* Here is the url if you want to copy and paste it to listen to the whole story http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=125847796&ft=1&f=1051
