In the 1960 we didn't have cable or satellite TV. Would you do without all your channels and go back to only 2 or 3 local stations?

There are benefits to getting premium channels like sports and news but for movies and regular programming I don't think it is worth it with all the available internet channels now. You can go to places like hulu.com and watch most all regular program show or FOX and CBS homepage and view them there.

I remember those days and that is one part I do not miss. I love my cable tv.

With the prices of getting either cable or satellite getting so outrageous I have opted for the old antenna and box. Only get a few channels but also don't have a $100.00 a month cable bill either!

Life without cable or satellite. Now that is an interesting thought but I doubt I could do it.

I remember when we only got a couple of channels on good days maybe 3. We had an antenna outside and one of us kids were always having to go outside and turn it while the ones in side would yell "there that it's or a little bit more". Reminds me of that commercial where the guy has the phone and is saying "can you hear me now".

I would love for the world to go back to those times when thing were much less stressed. But I do like my TV shows. So not sure.

Most people I knew even if they had a TV it was still black and white. I remember the first color tv I ever saw was at a friends house and they had just gotten one. People also still listened to the radio a lot in the evenings. They had regular radio programs shows that came on simliar to tv.
